The Challenge

The Client wanted our team to implement the following in the project:

  • Create Custom purchase invoice for services
  • Setup invoice template
  • Setup cash flow statement
  • Setup bank accounts
  • Setup of customers
  • Setup item cards, GL posting groups, tax posting groups, etc.
  • Setting up of different roles of the company

The Solution

The client wanted us to set up a new Company in Business Central. The software features a very helpful Company Creation Wizard that prompts to enter relevant company data, including business address, phone, email, website, logo, and various accounting and tax information. Within minutes, a company setup was created and was ready to start.

Business Central excel data import feature to import and analyze essential company data. A customized excel template was created to import the data for quotes, sales invoices, and purchase invoices. the templates were exported, updated, and imported back to the Business Central. Hundreds of the company's customer's data were successfully imported by the team members in Business Central with the help Excel template.

Different roles were set up according to the workers working in the company. This task took a little longer, as it involved understanding of user responsibility, grouping them into a role, designing the Role and assigning the respective privileges to the role and Assigning the role to the user.

General Business Posting Groups, General Product Posting Groups, Customer Posting Groups, Vendor Posting Groups, Inventory Posting Groups, Bank Account Posting Group, Tax Business Posting Groups were set up by the team members for the Customers to provide them the ease to work with the Business Central.
