The Challenge 

The client provides various kinds of investigative services to its customers. Their employees move out in the field, perform investigations and provide their observations. Some of the investigators are employees and some are contractors. These investigators are paid according to distance they travelled, the time they worked among other parameters. They would also upload large video and audio files along with a significant number of photos. 

The Solution 

We modified Dynamics 365 Sales and to some extent Dynamics 365 Field Service to manage the services that the client provides along with the management of their employees and contractors. SharePoint integration was performed so the users could manage large files. Portal was set up to allow contractors to upload their videos, audios and images which were stored on SharePoint. API apps were integrated which merged templates, users’ feedback and images into a single document which could be emailed to the customers. Payment calculations were also managed and required customizations.
